Would you believe me if I told you that, as car paint touch-up artists, our customers apologize to us all the time? Usually this apology sounds something like, “I’m sorry I’m so picky, but the car is new!” Or they might say, “I’m sorry, I know it’s just a small chip, but I can’t NOT see it.” Let me go ahead and tell you that you have nothing to be sorry about! We’re here for all of your touch-up needs, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem to others. Maybe your spouse doesn’t see the scratch at all, but you can’t take your eyes off of it. We’ve got you.
We Pick You
Picky customers make the best customers! We’re not going to downplay car paint damage because that’s our specialty and we know how important your car is to you. Steve, owner and technician at PaintCraft, didn’t spend the last 15 years mastering his touch-up skills to do mediocre work. It feels good to show off what you can do and picky people are more appreciative of a job well done. However, touch-up can’t fix everything, and there’s a difference between picky and unrealistic expectations. That’s why we always ask customers to send photos of their vehicle’s damage before their appointment. This allows us to let you know if we can fix it and how much better we think it will look. (You can read more about what to expect from touch-up here.)
Your Car, Your Pick
Touch-up is subjective and so is “picky”. Every person has their own idea of what is useful in any given situation. For a minor paint chip, you could find one person who would pay hundreds of dollars to have the entire panel resprayed to make it disappear. You could find another person who would rather save some cash and have it touched up. You could also find someone who would never notice or care that it was there at all. So, there’s no right, wrong, or picky way to get your car paint repaired. There’s just the result you’re looking for and what you’re willing to pay for it. You certainly don’t owe us an apology for hiring us! We’re happy to help, no matter the size of the job.
